LGBT Network – Queens Youth Artists For Expression (13-18)
Explore art for creativity, self-expression, and stress relief at the Queens Center’s Youth Expressive Arts Group. Young people ages 13-18 of all artistic abilities welcome. We’ll explore materials like paint, sand, collage, and more to explore your thoughts, emotions, strengths, and opportunities to grow into the best version of yourself.
5/14: Flower Pressing and Origami: This week we’ll incorporate nature into art with flower pressing and origami. Discover how different materials and techniques can result in self-expression you might not have expected.
5/28: Blackout Poetry: Learn about the fascinating techniques of blackout poetry – a new way to put together poetry and speak your mind and your emotions.
