Back to the Beach!!! Join us for our 2nd Annual, “BIG QUEER BEACH DAY!”

Who: Open to All Queer Folks 21+

Where: The People’s Beach @ Jacob Riis State Park, 157 Rockaway Beach Blvd, Rockaway Park

When: Friday, July 10th (weather permitting)

Time: 11am-???

Cost: FREE beach entry, $20 parking fee (per vehicle)

What to Bring: beach gear (beach chair, umbrella, sunscreen, towel, blanket, etc.) and any food or beverages you wish to consume. (Some food vendors may be open on the boardwalk)

Meeting Spot: We will be at The People’s Beach aka the “queer” section. From the Bathouse, walk left to the end of the boardwalk. Look for the blue tent with flamingos on it near the accessible walkway. (Check IG day of for more specific location.)

Partial nudity is frequent but optional, respecting other beach goers is not. All bodies are beach bodies, and all bodies are beautiful. Be kind or you can’t sit with us.
Alcoholic beverages and 420 are allowed within reason. Please use these substances in accordance with NY State Law and local state park regulations: www.nps.gov.
